Types of assets
Thailand is exceptionally popular among tourists. In 2018, nearly 39 million tourists visited Thailand, an increase of 9.4% over the previous year.
In 2019, Thailand expected growth of at least 7%, projecting 41 million tourist visits and revenue of about 2.2 trillion baht, a YoY (year-over-year) increase of 10 percent.1
The areas most often visited include Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya and similar centers of growth. Pronight 2019 includes an assortment of venues, including night clubs, bars, restaurants, music establishments, social clubs to reflect the evolving trends in tourism across the country.
Selection of assets
Our analysts have developed a set of criteria to carefully analyze and assess individual venues and establishments both for the potential growth and profit and for their possible risk factors.
In order to reflect the broadest and most relevant assets, each venue must meet or exceed these criteria before it can be considered for inclusion in the Pronight 2019 fund.
- Some establishments may represent a significant level of risk, along with a potential for a high return on investment (ROI)
- Conversely, venues with low ROI may also represent a lower level of risk
Combining both types of assets balances the fund and maximizes its potential for profitability without overextending risk to the individual investor.
